The Bowen Technique is a gentle and relaxing, hands-on remedial therapy which promotes healing, pain relief and the recovery of energy. It consists of a series of moves made on specific parts of the body with waiting periods between each series to allow the body to process the effects. Sessions usually last around 45 minutes and most moves can be performed through light clothing. Initially 2 - 3 sessions a week apart are recommended, with follow up maintenance sessions. Also useful in periods of high stress, Bowen can be a relaxing and enjoyable treatment at any time.

For dogs the Bowen Technique is a non-invasive, stress and pain free remedial technique which can aid pain relief, promote healing, reduce stress, restore harmony and re-balance the dog physically & emotionally. It encourages the body to realign & repair itself and involves a series of gentle rolling type moves over specific parts of the body with breaks to allow the body to rest and process the moves. The treatment is not forced on dogs and is safe and effective for all breeds, all ages and any size. The sessions take place at your home where the dog can feel safe and comfortable.
